Why Have a Dog ?

Since ancient times, dogs have been associated with unconditional love and guardianship. Favored by millions all over the world for their good company, working ability or any number of the other reasons dogs are used for work or companions all around the world.

If you live alone then a pet for the feeling of being safe and secure is more than enough to make thousands if not millions of people want a dog. As well I can think of no better gift for a disabled person than to have the guidance of an ever faithful pooch. They serve to provide a safe environment while still allowing the person independence to go about their daily lives.
